My wife and I live on the water in Victoria, and the hawk kite brought an immediate end to our bird problem. We put  a new dark metal roof on our house and it became a favourite roosting spot for gulls. I bought a Peregrine hawk kite with a 7m fibreglass pole. I  built a simple stand for it and set it up free-standing on our upper deck.  The gulls will not go near our roof when the hawk kite is flying. And Hawk Kite’s proprietor, John, provides great service. When I accidently damaged two sections of the pole, I reached out to John and he promptly sent me  replacement sections for free!. I  highly recommend Hawk Kites!
